Student Earns Honor for Hard Work

Southfield, MI – A.G.B.U. Alex & Marie Manoogian School junior Nadiya Burda was nominated for an “Outstanding Student Award” for Excellent

Academic Achievement and Excellent Attendance at Oakland Schools Technical Campus Southeast, in Royal Oak, Michigan.

Burda attends the Health Cluster program at the school and was nominated for the honor by her instructors.

Oakland Schools Technical and its four campuses practice Career Focused Education (CFE), which is, according to the school, designed to help

students explore their interests and aptitudes that enable them to make informed career choices.
